Tips for Juicing Citrus
- The easiest way to squeeze a lime is to start at room temperature, and roll it around to soften it.
- Slice it in half lengthwise. Juice by hand squeezing it until all the juice is released, use a hand-held juicer or the citrus attachment on your mixer.
- On average, 1 lime makes about 2 tablespoons juice, 1 lemon about 3 tablespoons of juice.
How to Make
- Chop – Gather ingredients, chopping to the consistency you prefer.
- Combine – Combine all ingredients.
- Refrigerate – This allows flavors to marinate.
